Rookie Baseball Rules for 2025

Rule Changes for MINORS playoffs:
1. There is NO time limit.  Unless one of the run mercy limits are reached, all six innings should be played
2. There is still a 5-run per inning limit.  The run differences to end the game are 15 after three, 10 after 4, and 6 after five.  Please note this change to 6 runs after 5 innings.  Since there is a 5 run per inning limit, 6 runs going into the sixth is enough to end the game.  If the away team takes the lead by 6 in the sixth inning, the game is over.
3. There is NO steal limit
4. Pitch counts are still in effect.  There are no changes to those limits.
5. There is a ONE base limit on all overthrows.  This includes in the field to bases as well as catchers throwing to bases on a steal attempt.
