12u Baseball Update
Sunday was a long day for West Nyack Nanuet, falling to Massapequa Coast 15-5. West Nyack Nanuet put up one run in the third and four runs in the fifth.  Derek Bulzomi, Anthony Acubit and Jesse Rizzo each had RBIs in the big inning. Ryan DeSapio led things off on the pitcher's mound for West Nyack Nanuet. The pitcher went three innings, allowing five runs on six hits and striking out three.  Nick Mandio threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen. Luke Fazulak went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead West Nyack Nanuet in hits. West Nyack Nanuet 12u AllStars finished the year as 2022 NY District 18 and Section 3 North champions. It has been quite a run for this team and something they will remember for a long time. Thank you for everyone’s support and to those that contributed to our GoFundMe. 12u Baseball in State Finals
West Nyack Nanuet AllStars defeated South Shore 6-4 on Saturday to advance onto to the NY State championship game on Sunday. South Shore got things started in the first inning when Luke Fazulak induced a ground ball into a fielder's choice, but one run scored. West Nyack Nanuet pulled away for good with four runs in the third inning.  In the third Jesse Rizzo homered on a 1-1 count, scoring two runs, Luke Fazulak singled on a 0-2 count, scoring one run and Nick Mandio hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored. Luke Fazulak got the start for West Nyack Nanuet.  Luke lasted five and a third innings, allowing three hits and three runs while striking out four. West Nyack Nanuet socked two home runs on the day. Jesse Rizzo had a homer in the third and fourth innings. West Nyack Nanuet had nine hits in the game. Nick Mandio, Ryan DeSapio, and Jesse Rizzo all collected multiple hits for West Nyack Nanuet. Tomorrow’s NY State Championship game is at 1:00pm vs Massapequa Coast.

12U Baseball is in the NYS Semis

West Nyack Nanuet Allstars bounced back from their loss on Wednesday. They took the lead late in today's game in a 5-1 victory over Massapequa. In the top of the third inning, West Nyack tied things up at one. In the top of the fourth Trevor Greenbush singled on the first pitch of the at-bat, scoring one run.


West Nyack Nanuet pulled away for good with two runs in the fourth inning.  In the fourth Ryan DeSapio singled on the first pitch of the at-bat scoring one run.


Luke Peterson toed the rubber for West Nyack Nanuet. Luke surrendered one run on five hits over five and a third innings, striking out ten and walking zero.
 

West Nyack Nanuet had ten hits in the game.  Ryan DeSapio, Nick Mandio, Trevor Greenbush, and Luke Fazulak each managed multiple hits.  Ryan DeSapio led with three hits in four at-bats.  West Nyack Nanuet didn't commit a single error in the field.


West Nyack Nanuet plays in the Semi-Finals tomorrow.

12U All-Star Update
Wednesday's game against Webster All Stars was a heartbreaker for West Nyack Nanuet as they lost the lead late in a 12-9 defeat.  The game was tied at eight with Webster batting in the bottom of the fifth when they scored one run. Luke Fazulak collected four hits in defeat.  Luke homered in the first, homered in the third, singled in the fifth, and singled in the sixth. West Nyack Nanuet got things moving in the first inning, when Luke Fazulak homered on a 2-0 count, scoring three runs. Ryan DeSapio led things off on the pitcher's mound for West Nyack Nanuet. The pitcher allowed five hits and five runs over three innings, striking out five.  Jesse Rizzo threw two innings in relief. West Nyack Nanuet totaled 11 hits.  Luke Fazulak,  Luke Peterson and Nick Mandio each collected multiple hits for West Nyack Nanuet. West Nyack Nanuet plays again on Friday vs Massapequa to try to get into the Semis on Saturday.

Fall Ball Registration is OPEN

Fall Ball registration is now open! 

The Deadline is August 19th to sign-up.

For the Fall season we will switch to 2023 Little League age charts and programs are offered as follows:

 

Softball:

Minors: Age 9 (birth year 2013) & Age 10 (birth year 2012)

Majors: Age 11 (birth year 2011) & Age 12 (birth year 2010)

 

Baseball:

Minors: Age 8 (DOBs: 9/1/2014-8/31/2015) & Age 9 (DOBs: 9/1/2013-8/31/2014)

Majors: Age 10 (DOBs: 9/1/2012-8/31/2013), Age 11 (DOBs: 9/1/2011-8/31/2012) & Age 12 (DOBs: 9/1/2010-8/31/2011)

 

Fall Ball is a great opportunity to continue to develop skills. It is especially great for those who are aging into a new division!

12U Baseball Takes the first game in NY State Championship

West Nyack Nanuet knocked in five runs in the second on its way to a 7-1 victory over Saratoga Springs All Stars on Tuesday.  The big inning was thanks to singles by Nick Mandio, Lucas Ng, Luke Fazulak plus an error on a ball put in play by Trevor Greenbush.

Luke Peterson led things off on the mound for West Nyack Nanuet. The pitcher went four innings, allowing one run on two hits, striking out four and walking none.  Luke Peterson was helped out by solid defense behind him.

Nick Mandio led 2022 West Nyack Nanuet 12u Allstars with two hits in three at bats.

The boys play again tomorrow at 5:25pm against Webster Little League.

12U All-Stars Playing for NY State

Our 12 y/o West Nyack/Nanuet boys all-star team are competing for the NY state championship in Penfield NY!  The games will be streamed live.  The link to register is below including a screenshot of the upcoming schedule.
